Kate Spade New York Regional Visual Merchandising Manager, Remote - New York, leading visual execution across North America retail and wholesale locations, $80K–$104K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead execution of visual direction including monthly floorsets, initiatives, tests, and window displays across the region
- Conduct regular store visits and walkthroughs at top-door locations, providing hands-on coaching and visual merchandising training to store leadership and visual leads in retail and key wholesale environments
- Manage photo review process for all stores under scope, providing timely and constructive feedback to store leaders to ensure consistent brand execution
- Host virtual walkthroughs and touchpoints for remote and opportunity locations using digital collaboration tools
- Facilitate regular training cadence for new visual leads and lead visual merchandising training seminars and in-person sessions to elevate field team knowledge and execution
- Collaborate with Global Visual Merchandising team to ensure strategic alignment on seasonal directions, key brand messages, and the Visual Merchandising Program
- Develop creative layout planning for seasonal windows and in-store presentation mapping, including distribution of 3D/2D fixtures and marketing materials
- Own all wholesale and travel retail locations in region, ensuring Kate Spade's visual expectations are consistently executed across diverse retail partners
- Support promotion and signage communication to stores, problem-solving and reacting quickly to promotional callouts
- Manage FRSO (Fixture & Replenishment Store Orders) and validate floor plans for new store openings and relocations
- Assess talent by store and identify top performers and development opportunities within the region
Qualifications
- Extensive visual merchandising experience in a regional or multi-unit leadership capacity
- Demonstrated ability to translate creative vision into impactful, customer-facing retail presentations
- Proven success leading, training, and developing visual merchandising teams
- Strong understanding of luxury brand aesthetics and visual standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in retail operations, store layouts, and visual execution standards
Skills
Experience
7-10 years of progressive visual merchandising or retail operations experience, with at least 3-5 years in a regional or multi-unit leadership role. Prior experience managing visual execution across diverse retail formats, including wholesale and travel retail environments, is highly valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in visual arts, merchandising, business, or related field preferred.
