Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily in-line inspections to monitor production procedures and identify quality deviations on footwear assembly lines.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and define corrective action plans with Service Providers (SPs); escalate issues and progress to the line manager.
  • Review samples, ES & CS reports and QLA findings to highlight critical quality points to SPs.
  • Coordinate and lead pre-production trials and hold pre-production meetings with SPs to confirm quality expectations.
  • Approve Packing Instructions (PI) for new styles and update flat-packing PIs as required.
  • Conduct Finished Goods (FG) audits using established FG audit parameters and assess shipment readiness.
  • Audit factory IQC processes and follow up on weaknesses identified in walkthrough reports; drive supplier improvements.
  • Train and certify factory QC personnel according to production volume needs.
  • Manage root-cause investigations and corrective actions for returned or defective footwear items.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on footwear quality management experience; experience in luxury footwear preferred.
  • Practical and technical knowledge of footwear construction, materials and production processes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of AQL methodology and quality control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in local Asian languages to liaise with regional suppliers and factories.
  • Proven ability to lead audits, implement corrective actions and train factory QC teams.
  • University education is an advantage.

Experience

At least five years of progressive experience in footwear quality assurance or quality control, with demonstrated responsibility for in-line inspections, FG audits, IQC assessments, supplier corrective actions and factory training—luxury footwear experience strongly preferred.

Education

University degree preferred; technical or vocational qualifications in footwear, textiles, engineering or quality management are advantageous.
