Coach Public Relations Assistant in New York, NY. Support global PR initiatives with 1+ years of experience. Full-time role at $26–$29/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Global PR team with all national men's and women's PR initiatives
- Establish and maintain relationships with key editors, stylists, and writers
- Manage logistics for daily sample requests from national media outlets
- Maintain organization of PR office and sample closet, including archival systems
- Organize, track, and maintain product inventory daily in Launchmetrics and Fashion GPS
- Liaise with internal teams (VIP, Visual Merchandising, Creative, Wholesale) and international business units for sample requests and seasonal photo shoots
- Handle credits and fact-checking for all men's and women's media placements
- Compile daily and weekly editorial reports, working closely with the Brand Communications team on weekly and monthly recaps
- Work closely with interns on day-to-day tasks
- Contribute to and collaborate on team-wide PR initiatives including parties, launches, events, and strategy sessions
- Stay informed on industry news and research best practices, particularly regarding competitors
- Support the ordering and management of runway samples
- Assist the PR, VIP, and Brand Communications teams during seasonal runway shows and press days
- Support global PR administrative tasks including invoicing and maintaining distribution lists
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 or more years of relevant PR experience
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external partners
- Self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and accountability
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
