Tapestry Project Manager, Store Design
Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Project Manager, Store Design in New York to lead scheduling and coordination for North America retail store projects.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for North America store projects, including new builds, renovations and enhancements, aligning design, permitting and construction phases.
- Monitor milestone progress and deliver regular status reports to leadership and project teams, ensuring visibility and accountability across stakeholders.
- Identify schedule risks related to permitting (DOB, DOH), landlord approvals, shipping logistics and other dependencies; escalate and propose mitigation plans promptly.
- Serve as the central scheduling coordinator, liaising with design, construction, operations and external partners to synchronize activities and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement and refine scheduling best practices, tools and workflows to improve predictability and delivery efficiency.
- Facilitate milestone reviews and stakeholder communications to ensure deadlines, deliverables and required actions are clearly understood.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in project scheduling or coordination within retail, architecture, or construction environments.
- Demonstrable knowledge of North America retail processes, including permitting workflows (DOB/DOH) and landlord coordination.
- Proficiency in scheduling platforms (MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
- Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving capabilities; detail-oriented and proactive in risk mitigation.

Experience
Minimum of four years managing project schedules or coordinating projects within retail, architectural practice, or construction contexts, with direct exposure to North American permitting and landlord approval processes.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
