Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the product development process from early design through commercialization, including prototype sampling, line presentations, and brand activation samples, ensuring timely delivery aligned with design specifications
• Support specialized techniques including printing, laser engraving, embossing, and other advanced product executions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams—materials sourcing, hardware, costing, engineering, and production—to track materials, components, and hardware throughout development
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of samples in collaboration with the engineering team, identify potential risks, and establish testing protocols to prevent production issues
• Ensure all samples utilize correct materials and components that meet Coach brand quality standards and specifications
• Lead handover meetings with program management, costing, and engineering teams to communicate design details, quality risks, special executions, and long lead-time collection introductions
• Maintain all necessary reports and documentation in the EC-Vision system to meet specified deadlines
• Monitor allocation and monthly transfer lists with the planning team to ensure accuracy and manage transfer developments
• Visit manufacturing partners to verify sample execution and quality compliance before shipment

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of product development experience in handbags, wallets, or fashion accessories; branded experience preferred or exceptional recent graduate
• Demonstrated expertise in bag or fashion accessories manufacturing processes, with strong familiarity with fabrics and leatherworking
• Exceptional organizational and follow-up capabilities with proactive, result-oriented mindset
• Advanced communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Professional English language proficiency required

Skills

Experience

1–2 years of professional experience in product development within the handbag, wallet, or fashion accessories sector. Fresh graduates with exceptional aptitude and strong technical knowledge of bag manufacturing are welcome. Branded company experience is advantageous.

Education

Secondary education minimum; vocational training, diploma, or degree in fashion, product design, or materials engineering preferred.
