Coach seeks a Product Developer in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam for an 8-month maternity cover contract role in product development and sample management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with Head of Development and regional office to ensure products meet design requirements aesthetically while maintaining target costs
- Partner with engineering teams to maintain high product quality and integrity
- Ensure sampling and costing schedules are met and manage production follow-up
- Support and grant sample approval at various development stages, including confirmation samples
- Maintain information accuracy and product correctness by facilitating communication across cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years in product development
- Experience with bag, wallet, and accessories development or production
- Familiarity with leather, fabrics, printing, and embroidery techniques
- Experience with an internationally operating brand
- Good regional sourcing connections
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for style and product aesthetics
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English
- Strong computer proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience in multicultural working environments

Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product development, with demonstrated expertise in bag, wallet, accessories, or related product development and production. Prior experience with an internationally operating brand is strongly preferred; manufacturing background also considered. Strong regional sourcing connections are valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
