PIT Equipment and Forklift Driver at Tapestry's North Las Vegas Fulfillment Center, $20.50–$21.50/hr, M-Th nights.
Role & Responsibilities
- Safely maintain and operate all PIT equipment including cherry pickers, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts
- Process cases and pallets within established productivity standards
- Place all cases and pallets in designated locations according to operational standards and log entries into warehouse management systems
- Complete daily assignments in a timely manner
- Assist with pallet receipts as required
- Maintain pooling lanes and overall work area cleanliness
- Communicate with leadership and maintenance regarding equipment issues and conveyor opportunities
- Support operations supervisors and team members as needed
- Assist in other areas and departments as operational demands require
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) technology
- Ability to follow instructions consistently and reliably
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive work ethic
- Ability to work overtime or flexible scheduling as needed
- Capacity to stand for entire shifts
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Capability to reach, walk, bend, lean, climb, and work at various heights
- Manual dexterity and physical coordination
Skills
Experience
Experience operating material handling equipment in a fulfillment or warehouse environment is preferred, though training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
