Tapestry, Inc. seeks a North America Purchasing Manager in New York, NY to lead FF&E/SBO procurement, supplier strategy and CAPEX management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle for FF&E and SBO across North America—from scope validation and purchase order creation through delivery, invoice reconciliation and financial closeout.
- Design and standardize procurement workflows, controls, and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into order status, financial exposure and delivery risk.
- Lead North America supplier strategy for FF&E, SBO and logistics partners, including performance management, capacity alignment and cost-competitiveness.
- Establish supplier performance scorecards, conduct quarterly business reviews and implement continuous improvement actions.
- Coordinate with Construction, Design and Finance to align production schedules with project milestones, analyze variances and assess financial impacts of design or scope changes.
- Manage CAPEX for FF&E and SBO: maintain forecasts, cost-per-square-foot metrics and budget-to-actual reporting.
- Proactively manage production timelines, freight coordination, tariff exposure and issue resolution to protect schedule and cost.
- Develop and maintain inventory and asset management strategies to optimize deployment, reduce excess stock and minimize write-offs.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain or a related function, preferably within retail, store development or FF&E environments.
- Proven experience supporting order management, vendor coordination, CAPEX tracking and budget-to-actual reporting.
- Demonstrable ability to develop procurement controls, supplier scorecards and project dashboards.
- Strong organizational, analytical and written/verbal communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- High attention to detail, ownership mentality and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across functions.

Experience
Requires 4–6 years in purchasing, procurement, supply chain or related roles with hands-on experience in order management, vendor coordination, CAPEX management and procurement process development—ideally supporting FF&E, store build-out (SBO) or retail construction programs.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in procurement and supply chain.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 per annum.
