Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of network engineers and technicians responsible for design, deployment and 24/7 operations of enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks across retail, office and cloud environments.
- Define network architecture and roadmap, including SD‑WAN, campus switching, wireless, IP telephony, load balancing and cloud networking (AWS/Azure), ensuring scalability and resilience for global retail operations.
- Drive network security integration with firewalls, VPNs and segmentation standards in collaboration with information security and third‑party vendors.
- Own incident response and root‑cause analysis for major network outages; establish monitoring, alerting and runbooks to reduce mean time to repair (MTTR).
- Manage vendor relationships, service level agreements (SLAs), procurement and third‑party integrators to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (retail ops, store IT, applications, security) to support rollouts, migrations and change management with minimal customer impact.
- Implement automation and configuration management practices (Infrastructure as Code, orchestration) to improve repeatability and operational efficiency.
- Produce capacity planning, budgeting inputs and regular reporting on network health, availability and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Proven people manager with experience hiring, mentoring and leading technical teams in an enterprise environment.
- Deep technical expertise in enterprise routing/switching, WAN technologies (MPLS, SD‑WAN), wireless LAN and data center networking.
- Experience integrating network and security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers and segmentation controls.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills; experience managing multi‑vendor projects and outsourced services.
- Demonstrated ability to define network roadmaps, deliver capital projects and drive continuous improvement through automation.

Typically 7+ years in enterprise network engineering with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role; experience in retail or multi‑site global operations is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
