Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain conveyor systems and assist with equipment troubleshooting to ensure continuous DC operations
- Set up and maintain all receiving, picking, and shipping equipment for optimal facility functionality
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on order pickers, forklift trucks, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment, including battery charging and changeover
- Service facility infrastructure, emphasizing preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and HVAC apparatus
- Execute office maintenance tasks including furniture reconfiguration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work
- Perform duties as assigned and support ad-hoc facility maintenance requirements
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience maintaining equipment such as conveyors, lift trucks, building apparatus, HVAC systems, and mechanical/plumbing systems
- Certification or demonstrated ability in 120V–277V electrical installation and 3-phase electrical motor control troubleshooting
- Certification or demonstrated ability in forklift truck, order picker, and pallet jack maintenance and repair
- Strong electrical and mechanical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly throughout shift and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and crouch for the entire shift duration

2+ years of hands-on experience maintaining equipment including conveyors, lift trucks, building systems, HVAC apparatus, and mechanical/plumbing infrastructure in a distribution center or similar industrial environment.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
