Tapestry seeks a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead recruitment initiatives for Coach and Kate Spade in Tokyo.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment searches for all Tapestry positions in partnership with hiring managers
  • Develop recruitment strategy for both external and active/passive internal candidates
  • Source, assess, interview candidates, and manage the offer process through completion
  • Conduct proactive recruitment efforts to create and maintain talent pipelines at all organizational levels
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other internet sources to develop robust candidate pools and referral networks
  • Manage and nurture relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners to remain current on market activities and compensation trends
  • Conduct exploratory interviews on a regular basis and maintain systematic follow-up protocols
  • Develop and maintain contact files for all functions to support succession planning
  • Provide expert consultation to hiring managers regarding market talent availability, hiring best practices, and candidate landscape
  • Guide hiring managers and HRBP teams through sensitive hiring situations and decision-making processes
  • Lead internal mobility initiatives and drive conversion rates to position Tapestry as a talent growth platform
  • Plan, execute, and lead new recruitment programs and enhancements at both local and global levels
  • Partner with broader HR teams to identify and implement process and tools improvements
  • Represent Tapestry as an employer brand ambassador and drive employer branding initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant recruiting and talent acquisition experience, ideally within a multinational corporation (MNC) environment
  • Proven frontline recruiting experience; agency and internal mixed background preferred
  • Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese
  • Strong project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, both internally and externally
  • Experience in the retail or service industry highly preferred
  • Strong expertise in talent recruitment, management, and related initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or related field
  • Ability to operate effectively within both startup and large corporate environments
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and experience with major ATS implementations a plus

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive recruiting and talent acquisition experience gained in a multinational corporation, with significant exposure to frontline recruitment. A blend of agency and internal recruiting backgrounds is preferred. Prior experience in the retail or service industry is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or related degree program.
