Coach Seoul seeks Manager, Retail Training & Development to design and deliver training programs for retail staff across multiple locations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs and projects according to established schedules for retail staff across multiple locations
- Define training objectives through deep analysis of target audience demographics and training needs, developing curriculum content for both virtual and in-classroom delivery modalities
- Collaborate with retail leadership on training needs assessments and coordinate implementation of the retail high-potential development program, serving as a resource to program participants
- Own and ensure adoption of the company's training strategy by working closely with global training partners and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
- Ensure excellent and consistent service delivery across all markets in alignment with Coach Experience standards and brand guidelines
- Develop, organize, and maintain an updated database of training programs, manuals, and related materials and records
- Prepare regular training reports to evaluate program results and effectiveness, recommending changes to enhance staff performance and organizational goal achievement
- Conduct store visits and provide on-site coaching to frontline staff to reinforce learning and drive performance improvement
- Monitor and maintain training budget allocations and expenditures
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties in executing training initiatives and programs
- Stay informed on competitive landscape developments, emerging service and clienteling practices, and training innovations relevant to the luxury fashion sector
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Training, Human Resources Management, or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 8 years of professional training experience in customer-contact, multi-location retail environments
- Retail industry experience (preferred)
- Professional training qualifications or certifications (advantageous)
- Proven track record of delivering business-focused solutions across diverse training and development practices
- Ability to identify, quantify, prioritize, and resolve complex problems through synthesization of information into actionable solutions
- Demonstrated ability to balance routine task execution while identifying and challenging existing practices for continuous improvement opportunities
- Fluency in both Korean and English, with strong verbal and written communication capabilities
Skills
Experience
Minimum 8 years of professional training experience in customer-contact, multi-location environments, with retail industry exposure preferred. Demonstrated success in designing and executing business-focused training solutions within a fast-paced, multi-location retail or hospitality setting is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Training, Human Resources Management, or equivalent field.
