Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Manager, Retail Training & Development in Seoul to lead retail learning, coaching and store capability programs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver retail training programs (virtual and classroom) aligned to the market training schedule and company strategy.
  • Conduct training needs analysis for targeted audiences and define clear learning objectives and curricula.
  • Collaborate with retail and cross‑functional partners to implement high‑potential and capability‑building initiatives.
  • Ensure adoption of global training strategy and localise content in partnership with global training teams.
  • Drive consistent service standards across the market in line with the Coach Experience.
  • Maintain and update a central repository of training materials, manuals and program records.
  • Measure training effectiveness through regular reporting and recommend program improvements to elevate store performance.
  • Perform store visits and provide frontline coaching to reinforce learning in the field.
  • Manage and monitor the training budget and coordinate internal and external training resources.
  • Monitor competitor activity and learning innovations to inform continuous improvement of training offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training, Human Resources Management or a related discipline (or equivalent).
  • Minimum eight years’ experience in training within a multi‑location customer contact environment; retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Professional training certifications (e.g., instructional design, facilitation credentials) are advantageous.
  • Proven track record delivering business‑focused learning solutions and measurable capability improvements.
  • Demonstrable ability to analyse problems, prioritise interventions and propose practical solutions.

Experience
