Tapestry seeks a Manager, Production Operations in Indonesia to oversee quality and manufacturing across service providers for Coach and Kate Spade.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all Production Operations activities, Quality assurance, and corporate social responsibility performance for assigned service providers
- Ensure timely communication of Quality, Production, and CSR issues to relevant stakeholders, and drive implementation of Tapestry-mandated corrective actions
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with service providers to execute Tapestry strategies effectively
- Lead assigned suppliers toward high-performance delivery, exceeding operational expectations consistently
- Establish preventative measures and early-warning systems for quality issues during conceptual design and manufacturing phases
- Drive improvements in process documentation, record-keeping, and service provider quality assurance systems
- Assess and optimize staffing structure and capabilities across all production operations, including quality enforcement and assessment
- Manage resolution of production-related issues and ensure consistent execution and timely delivery of monthly production plans
- Champion lean manufacturing techniques and drive productivity optimization across assigned service providers
- Implement innovative production methods, materials, equipment, and techniques to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Degree holder with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in sourcing handbags, accessories, footwear, or related product categories
- At least 2 years of managerial-level experience from well-established organizations
- In-depth knowledge of technical production across all aspects of handbag, accessory, and footwear manufacturing
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and vendor management across multiple organizational levels
- Proven leadership and team motivation capabilities with established track record of empowerment
- Strategic and operational thinking with intellectual breadth and analytical dexterity
- Strong data analysis and business acumen skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP system knowledge preferred

Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in production operations, sourcing, and vendor management within the handbag, accessories, footwear, or luxury goods manufacturing sectors; at least 2 years at managerial level within well-established organizations, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
