Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with global business stakeholders to understand requirements and align on comprehensive procurement and sourcing strategies
  • Implement global procurement target initiatives designed to achieve measurable cost savings and revenue optimization
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities across sourcing workflows and vendor management cycles
  • Conduct detailed spend data analysis to uncover cost-saving opportunities, cost containment strategies, and revenue generation potential
  • Manage complex RFx (Request for Proposal/Quote/Information) and sourcing projects, including preparation, issuance, vendor evaluation, and comparative analysis
  • Lead vendor negotiations with strategic rigor, and prepare final price lists and business recommendations for stakeholder approval
  • Oversee comprehensive project planning including timelines, deliverables definition, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment
  • Develop robust business cases that quantify financial savings and operational benefits of proposed initiatives
  • Partner closely with business units to identify, evaluate, and execute value-generating procurement opportunities
  • Research market trends and leading industry practices to discover and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Manage vendor contracts from initial engagement through terms negotiation, execution, and ongoing relationship stewardship
  • Lead and develop Sourcing Specialists and Category Analysts within the procurement function
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative supplier relationships that support long-term value creation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5–7 years of strategic sourcing, procurement, performance measurement, contract negotiation, and business analysis experience
  • 3–5 years of industry-specific or category experience in architecture, store construction, construction materials, store fixtures, store furniture, or related architectural and construction services
  • Advanced proficiency in strategic sourcing methodology with demonstrated pragmatism in managing exceptions and edge cases
  • Proven ability to develop category and sourcing strategies that identify and capitalize on opportunity areas
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively directing and leveraging procurement spend across assigned categories by leading global cross-functional teams
  • Strong experience in managing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships
  • Strong leadership presence combined with advanced negotiation and contract management capabilities
  • Technical knowledge of procurement and spend analysis systems, data interpretation, and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills, with proven ability to mentor Sourcing Specialists and Category Analysts
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills
