Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Manager, Consumer Insights in New York, NY to lead qual/quant research and drive brand strategy and growth.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and support Coach’s consumer insights roadmap to inform brand growth and strategic priorities.
  • Design, manage and execute custom qualitative and quantitative research end-to-end, partnering with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Synthesize syndicated data, social listening outputs and custom research to answer key business questions and identify opportunities.
  • Translate research findings into clear, concise presentations and actionable recommendations for senior leadership across Coach and Tapestry.
  • Leverage transversal studies (e.g., Brand Health, attitudinal research) to surface long-term strategic implications and drive decision-making.
  • Contribute to building a world-class consumer insights capability that deepens consumer relationships and powers global growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in market research, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in consumer-focused, data-driven roles; experience in retail, fashion, or consumer brands preferred (client-side preferred).
  • Demonstrable mastery of research methodology across qualitative and quantitative approaches, from design through execution.
  • Strong foundation in customer analytics and data-driven strategy development.
  • Proven ability to craft succinct, senior-level presentations and to translate analysis into actionable business recommendations.
  • Track record of working effectively within matrixed organizations and managing external agency/supplier partnerships.

Experience
