Coach (Tapestry) is hiring a Lead Supervisor I in Kansas City, MO — lead the sales floor, drive KPIs and develop retail teams. $16.00–$24.75/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide visible leadership on the sales floor to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, embodying Coach values and promoting brand awareness through client engagement.
- Drive store performance by monitoring and analysing sales data, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions to meet KPIs.
- Recruit, interview and support development of store team members; deliver high-level training and performance feedback.
- Implement corporate initiatives and ensure full compliance with company policies and store operational procedures.
- Coach and mentor staff on clienteling strategies to build long-term customer relationships and increase lifetime value.
- Support HR and conflict-resolution matters in the absence of senior leadership and foster an inclusive team environment.
- Maintain operational readiness including merchandising, stockroom management and physical tasks associated with store upkeep.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a competitive retail environment at a lead/supervisor level.
- Proven ability to analyse sales metrics and translate insights into actionable coaching and store strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience recruiting, developing and holding teams accountable to goals.
- Strong customer-focus and experience with clienteling or relationship-driven retail selling.
- Ability to perform physical aspects of the role: regularly lift 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
Experience
At least 1 year of hands-on supervisory experience in a high-traffic retail environment, with responsibility for driving sales and developing staff.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in business, retail or hospitality is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 24.75 per hour.
