Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and cultivate lasting customer relationships within the store coffee operation.
- Support daily sales targets by motivating staff, driving key selling behaviours and maintaining high conversion standards.
- Coach, train and provide real-time feedback to associates to elevate beverage craft, service techniques and operational consistency.
- Manage store-level operations including opening/closing procedures, ordering, inventory control, cash handling and adherence to food safety protocols.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the in-store coffee environment reflects the Coach brand and luxury presentation.
- Respond to guest concerns and operational issues with professionalism, urgency and sound problem-solving.
- Act as a local brand ambassador to represent Coach in the mall/community and uphold brand values in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in retail or food service.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles with the ability to delegate and develop team members.
- Familiarity with food & beverage operating systems and point-of-sale platforms.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and reliable cash handling practices.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Capacity to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience in retail or food service, with hands-on exposure to guest service, cash handling and inventory procedures.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or certification in hospitality, business or foodservice is preferred.
