Coach in Leesburg, VA seeks a Lead Cashier. Full-time retail role at Leesburg Outlets focused on cashwrap operations, customer service, and POS management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and act as an ambassador for the Insider loyalty program; engage customers in line and at the cashwrap to assess needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Operate point-of-sale systems to complete transactions, process returns, repairs, and damaged-item procedures in accordance with policy.
- Capture and maintain customer information accurately and securely; promote add-ons and gift cards to maximize average sale.
- Perform end-of-shift audits, ensure cash/media accuracy, and report equipment or system issues promptly.
- Maintain SKU accuracy, cashwrap organization, and salesfloor cleanliness; assist with stockroom handling and occasional lifting of merchandise.
- Assist in training and mentoring cashier team members, demonstrating the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Remain composed under pressure, multitask across customer-facing and administrative duties, and adapt to shifting priorities on high‑traffic days.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven experience operating POS systems and familiarity with Mobile POS devices (iPad/laptop), plus walkie‑talkie use.
- Strong verbal communication and customer‑service skills with the ability to influence purchase decisions.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Capable of regularly lifting at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and performing physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and kneeling.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury or premium retail preferred. Demonstrated competency with POS systems and customer-facing sales techniques is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
