Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Human Resources Manager in Seoul, South Korea to lead retail HR, recruitment, L&D and employee relations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as strategic HR business partner to the retail leadership team, translating business objectives into HR priorities and annual HR plans.
- Own retail staffing and recruitment strategy in Korea, managing relationships with external agencies and collaborating with Talent Acquisition to build candidate pipelines and seasonal hiring plans.
- Lead learning & development initiatives for retail, defining training needs, implementing global/regional programs locally, and supporting manager development and succession planning.
- Advise and coach retail management on employee relations and performance issues; partner with Legal for sensitive cases and ensure compliance with local regulation.
- Drive performance management and talent assessment processes for retail, coordinate salary increase cycles with Compensation and manage associated budgets.
- Manage local HR operations including time & attendance systems, government affairs compliance, headcount planning and HR-related budget/expense oversight.
- Deliver and steward HR projects and change management plans; engage stakeholders to secure adoption and sustainable organizational change.
- Monitor and analyse HR metrics (turnover, engagement, headcount) and design targeted interventions to improve retention and employee engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with emphasis on two or more areas such as employee relations, compensation & benefits, talent management or HR business partnering.
- Proven track record delivering client-focused HR solutions to business leaders, preferably within retail or multi-site consumer luxury environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing recruitment operations and external agency partnerships.
- Strong project management and change management experience, including rollout of HR programs and regional/global initiatives.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of human resources experience with demonstrated delivery across employee relations, compensation & benefits, talent management and HR business partnering. Experience supporting retail or multi-site operations in the fashion or luxury sector is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree.
