Coach (Tapestry) seeks an HR Generalist in Seoul, South Korea to manage employee relations, HR operations and talent programs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end HR operations for the Seoul corporate office, including onboarding, offboarding and HR record keeping.
  • Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
  • Support talent acquisition activities: coordinate recruitment, candidate screening, interviews and offer processes in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Korean employment law and corporate standards.
  • Administer performance management processes, learning initiatives and development plans in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Partner with payroll/benefits providers and external vendors to ensure accurate benefits administration and statutory compliance.
  • Contribute to people‑focused projects (organizational change, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion initiatives) and HR communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR generalist or HR business partner role, preferably within fashion, retail or a corporate environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Korean employment law, statutory labour regulations and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations, performance processes and confidential personnel matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills; ability to work with cross‑functional teams and senior leaders.

Experience

At least three years of progressive HR generalist experience, with hands‑on exposure to employee relations, recruitment, HR operations and compliance; experience in the fashion or retail sector is preferred.
