Role & Responsibilities
- Support the US GAAP monthly close within S4 SAP, including preparation and posting of month‑end journal entries (SG&A accruals and other adjustments).
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations using BlackLine and generate month‑end closing deliverables and reports.
- Perform intercompany chargebacks, match and reconcile intercompany balances, and support settlement of intercompany balances (gross or net) including cash settlements.
- Support local statutory audit requirements and provide audit schedules and responses under relevant SEA local GAAPs.
- Assist with preparation and filing of indirect and direct tax returns and payments across Southeast Asia.
- Support inventory and payroll accounting close activities and related reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOX controls and assist with SOX testing and remediation activities.
- Participate in ad‑hoc projects such as SAP enhancements, robotic process automation and tax‑compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field (bachelor’s preferred).
- 2–3 years' accounting/finance experience at a multinational corporation or in a professional accounting firm.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ability to prepare clear presentation materials for stakeholders.
- Practical experience with S4 SAP and BlackLine is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with local SEA GAAPs, indirect/direct tax processes and SOX controls.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities across regions.
- Clear communicator, assertive, proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross‑functional team.

Experience
2–3 years of progressive accounting experience within a multinational corporate finance team or public accounting firm, with exposure to month‑end close, reconciliations and audit/tax support.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's degree preferred).
