Kate Spade New York seeks an FP&A Analyst in New York, NY to lead forecasting, reporting and variance analysis for North America.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute weekly performance snapshots that summarize key business results for North America.
- Develop monthly financial forecasts for channels and analyze variances versus forecast, budget and prior year; articulate primary drivers and trends.
- Identify, assess and communicate key risks and opportunities affecting the North America business.
- Support the North America month‑end close and consolidation process by analyzing expense line items and partnering with Accounting to ensure accurate recognition.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analyses and bridge analyses with detailed backup to inform leadership decision‑making.
- Prepare and distribute month‑end financial reporting to key business partners and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and participate in monthly expense reviews with cross‑functional partners to monitor performance against financial targets.
- Translate financial concepts and insights into clear, concise messages for non‑finance stakeholders.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
- 1–3 years of finance, FP&A or related experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Working knowledge of MicroStrategy, PBCS and SAP is a plus.
- Experience with P&L budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis preferred.
- Demonstrated business acumen, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across functions.

1–3 years of finance, FP&A or related experience; prior consumer products or retail finance exposure is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 80,000 per annum.
