Forklift Driver at Tapestry in Jacksonville, FL – operate PIT equipment in fulfillment center, $18/hr, full-time, M-Th dayshift.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Safely maintain and operate all PIT equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Process cases and pallets within established productivity standards
  • Ensure accurate placement of cases and pallets in designated locations per warehouse management system protocols
  • Complete daily assignments in a timely manner
  • Assist with pallet receipts as required
  • Maintain pooling lanes and organize work areas
  • Communicate equipment issues to leadership and coordinate with maintenance regarding conveyor opportunities
  • Support Operations Supervisor and team members across multiple departments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of RF (radio frequency) technology
  • Ability to follow instructions consistently and reliably
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work flexibly, including overtime when needed
  • Physical capability to stand for entire shifts and lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Ability to reach, walk, bend, lean, climb, and work at various heights

Experience

Operational warehouse or fulfillment center experience with PIT equipment operation is preferred; candidates demonstrating strong safety practices, attention to detail, and the ability to meet productivity standards will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is USD 18 per hour.
