Tapestry seeks a Footwear Quality Auditor in Haiphong, Vietnam to lead in-line inspections, FG audits and supplier quality for its global brands.

Role & Responsibilities
- Perform daily in-line inspections to monitor production processes and ensure adherence to Tapestry quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and define corrective action plans with Service Providers (SP); escalate critical issues to line manager.
- Review samples, ES & CS reports and QLA to identify quality risks and communicate key findings to suppliers.
- Conduct pre-production trials and lead pre-production meetings with suppliers to confirm specifications and control points.
- Approve Packing Instructions for new styles and updates to flat-packing procedures.
- Execute Finished Goods (FG) audits using established FG audit parameters and follow up on weak areas identified in walkthrough reports.
- Perform IQC audits to assess factory incoming quality control processes and certify factory QC staff according to production volume needs.
- Provide training and certification to factory QC teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage returned-defect investigations for shoes, ensuring root cause resolution and tracking corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in footwear quality management, preferably within luxury or premium shoe manufacturing.
- Practical and technical knowledge of footwear construction, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Solid understanding of AQL procedures and quality control systems.
- Proven experience conducting IQC and FG audits and delivering supplier training.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language (Vietnamese) to liaise with regional suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- University education is advantageous; formal training in footwear technology, materials science, engineering or a related discipline preferred.

At least five years of hands-on footwear quality experience with responsibility for in-line inspections, finished-goods audits and supplier corrective action. Prior exposure to luxury footwear standards and cross-border supplier management is highly desirable.
Education
University education preferred (footwear technology, materials science, engineering or related field advantageous).
