Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in all production development assignments from early-stage design through confirmed sample sign-off, ensuring seamless transition of footwear designs from prototype to production
- Directly coordinate with overseas manufacturing vendors to facilitate the effective execution of product development work and technical specifications
- Review and validate technical packages with overseas teams and vendors to ensure accuracy and alignment with design requirements
- Coordinate with Raw Material Sourcing, Tooling, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and execution aligned with design specifications
- Verify accuracy of product specifications and maintain adherence to project timelines to support overall development schedules
- Manage sample material transfers between vendors and oversee trims and upper material processes throughout the development cycle
- Communicate product status, shipping, and tracking information between manufacturing facilities and overseas teams to maintain operational transparency
- Participate in internal and external Reclamation Assessment (RA) meetings to achieve corrective actions, clarifications, and coordinate wear and lab testing on sample deliverables
- Ensure product quality meets the highest standards across all sampling phases, exercising quality oversight and influence during each development stage
- Lead long lead-time project communications to Supply Chain Management to ensure proactive planning and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the footwear industry, specifically in product development or related technical roles
- Advanced knowledge of product category, material science, construction techniques, and the product development lifecycle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with demonstrated competency in data management and presentation
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal; Mandarin Chinese preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills with proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and time zones
- Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage complex technical documentation accurately
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
