Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to wholesale leadership, owning monthly P&L reviews, margin analysis and commercial performance reporting for assigned accounts or regions.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and re-forecast cycles for the wholesale channel; identify drivers of variance and propose corrective actions.
  • Build and present actionable insights and scenario analyses to commercial stakeholders and senior management to support pricing, promotions and assortment decisions.
  • Develop KPI dashboards and periodic management packs using FP&A and BI tools; automate recurring reports and improve data integrity.
  • Support annual business planning and long-range planning processes, including inventory, sell-through and working capital modelling.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations to align financial objectives with commercial initiatives and ensure timely execution.
  • Drive ad-hoc commercial analyses (e.g., customer-level profitability, channel mix, promotional ROI) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accuracy of revenue recognition, accruals and wholesale reserves.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; Master’s degree or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or CFA) preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate financial data into commercial recommendations and to influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Excel for modelling and financial analysis; experience with ERP/FP&A/BI systems.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience preparing executive-level materials.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

Experience

Typically 4+ years of progressive finance experience with demonstrable FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering responsibilities; prior exposure to wholesale, retail or luxury brand finance is strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) or professional accounting/finance qualification preferred.
