Tapestry is hiring a Distribution Center Mechanic II in Jacksonville, FL — full-time, Thu–Sun dayshift; maintain conveyors, robotics and electrical systems ($29.25/hr).
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on conveyor systems, sorters, lifts, box sizers and other FC equipment.
- Conduct electromechanical and robotics troubleshooting, including PLC-based fault analysis and corrective action.
- Install, test, calibrate and repair motors, drive cards/motor controls, gearboxes, V-belts and related mechanical components.
- Execute Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) tasks and perform daily equipment walkthroughs to identify failures and risks.
- Perform breakdown analysis and generate maintenance reports; assist with parts inventory and equipment installations.
- Support the maintenance team across mechanical, electrical, welding/metal fabrication and PIT repair tasks as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience maintaining fulfillment- or distribution‑center machinery and conveyance systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical competence, including safe work on electrical systems up to 480V.
- Ability to perform welding/metal fabrication and perform basic PIT (powered industrial truck) repairs.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist or crouch for the duration of a shift; routinely lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Experience
Practical, hands‑on experience servicing distribution or fulfillment center equipment — conveyors, sorters, lifts and associated electromechanical systems — with demonstrated troubleshooting using PLCs and routine TPM practices.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
