Distribution Associate - Shipping role at Tapestry Inc. in Jacksonville, FL; $17.50/hr, full-time, Thursday–Sunday dayshift.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process volume according to productivity, accuracy, and team standards
- Ensure deadlines are met on orders and shipments
- Perform effective problem-solving in functional area, including order audits and carton issue resolution
- Utilize warehouse management systems and departmental programs to determine status and resolve cases
- Assist with carton and corrugate preparation, breakdown, and disposal
- Replenish usable totes and bins as needed
- Process items at the tote replenishment line
- Operate in the Problem Resolution area to address discrepancies
- Research and process shortages and No Read diversions
- Accurately break down and distribute tickets
- Sort and offload cartons to and from pallets and conveyor systems
- Assist with packing cartons, dunnage application, and sealing
- Communicate with Team Leader regarding equipment or workstation issues
- Operate hand pallet jacks safely and effectively
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the department
- Practice safe work habits and communicate safety concerns to management
- Support other departments as needed for operational flexibility
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow instructions consistently and accurately
- Self-motivation and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime or flexible scheduling as required
- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand for entire shifts
- Ability to reach, walk, bend, lean, push, pull, climb, and work at various heights
- Manual dexterity and coordination
