Tapestry seeks Director, Workplace Technology in New York to lead global enterprise technology strategy and employee experience across retail and corporate operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and communicate a unified global Workplace Technology and Client Services vision, operating model, and multi-year roadmap aligned to business priorities and associate needs
- Lead Workplace Technology as a portfolio of products with clear ownership, prioritized backlogs, standards, investment plans, and measurable business outcomes
- Elevate associate experience across endpoints, productivity tools, collaboration services, meeting rooms, voice and video, and workplace support channels
- Advance a proactive, experience-led operating model using Digital Employee Experience (DEX), Experience Level Agreements (XLAs), sentiment analysis, service quality metrics, and technical telemetry
- Accelerate automation, self-service, self-healing, AI-assisted support, intelligent routing, and automated provisioning to reduce friction and improve service velocity
- Lead endpoint and application modernization including Intune and Jamf capabilities, software delivery automation, Windows and macOS platform improvements, virtual desktop, and Cloud PC migrations
- Lead Microsoft 365 and messaging modernization, governance, lifecycle management, operational reporting, and security alignment
- Lead unified communications and telecom modernization including Teams voice, corporate and retail telephony, conferencing, and meeting-room services
- Provide high-touch, discreet technology support for executive leadership while leveraging insights to improve broader associate experience
- Build security, privacy, responsible AI, resiliency, and tested rollback practices into all workplace technology design, deployment, and operations
- Establish strong service governance and vendor accountability through accurate reporting, trend-based insights, continuous improvement plans, and clear ownership through resolution
- Create a culture of engineering excellence, learning, accountability, inclusion, and collaboration; develop leaders and build global capability across internal teams and strategic partners
- Partner with Security, Retail Technology, HR, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Finance, Procurement, and regional business leadership to optimize employee journeys
- Develop and mentor global technical leaders and teams, strengthen career paths, and foster succession planning across the organization
Qualifications
- Significant leadership experience (12+ years) in global workplace technology, digital workplace, end-user computing, employee experience technology, or closely related technology function
- Demonstrated track record leading a broad workplace portfolio encompassing endpoint engineering, collaboration platforms, meeting-room technology, unified communications, workplace support, and device lifecycle services
- Proven success transforming support organizations from reactive, ticket-driven operations toward proactive, automated, and experience-led services
- Experience utilizing Digital Employee Experience (DEX), observability, sentiment analysis, service analytics, XLAs, or similar measures to identify friction points and improve outcomes
- Working knowledge of modern endpoint and collaboration ecosystems including Microsoft 365, Teams, Windows, macOS, mobile platforms, endpoint management, virtual desktop, and identity services
- Experience applying AI and automation to employee support, knowledge management, provisioning, remediation, and workflow orchestration with appropriate governance controls
- Strong product and portfolio management capability including roadmaps, prioritization, investment cases, adoption strategies, value realization, lifecycle planning, and platform rationalization
- Proven ability to lead global teams and manage strategic service providers; set clear expectations, challenge weak performance constructively, and drive improvement through data-driven operating discipline
- Strong financial and commercial judgment across budgets, vendor contracts, licensing, consumption models, and total cost of ownership analysis
Skills
Experience
Typically 12 or more years of progressive technology leadership experience, with substantial tenure leading managers, global teams, and large-scale workplace technology services in complex, distributed enterprise environments. Equivalent depth of cross-functional experience and demonstrated impact will be considered. Experience in retail, consumer, luxury, or other distributed global enterprise settings is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in technology, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating mastery of workplace technology strategy and global technology operations.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 185,000 to USD 220,000 per annum.
