Kate Spade New York hiring Director of Media in New York. Lead full-funnel media strategy and campaigns; $140K–$160K.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated full-funnel media strategies that drive brand heat and capture demand across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages, laddering back to business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ecommerce, marketing, creative, buying, and PR to align media strategy with broader business goals and identify optimal content and linking strategies
- Partner with media agencies to build strategic and tactical plans, ensuring timely implementation and optimization across all channels
- Manage and optimize channel performance across the funnel: upper-funnel channels (YouTube video & display, Meta and TikTok paid social, paid influencer, publisher/partner marketing) and lower-funnel channels (paid search, paid social, affiliate, performance partnerships)
- Lead creative briefing for full-funnel campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand voice, audience insights, and platform best practices
- Partner with creative and channel teams to produce platform-tailored assets and manage custom content workstreams including influencer, creator, affiliate, and publisher content
- Define and track KPIs for both upper-funnel (brand lift, engagement metrics) and lower-funnel (CPA, ROAS, conversion rates) performance
- Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting and translate data insights into actionable recommendations for creative iterations, media mix decisions, and budget allocations
- Test new platforms and formats to expand reach, improve engagement, and drive media efficiency
- Partner with lifecycle and performance marketing teams to ensure seamless transitions from awareness to conversion
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and performance-oriented execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of relevant experience building media campaigns with multi-million-dollar annual budgets
- Proven experience with full-funnel media strategy and optimization
- Firm understanding of testing and measurement methodologies including A/B testing and brand lift studies
- Experience with brand media metrics (CPM, CPA, CPC, VTR, and engagement KPIs)
- Demonstrated expertise across upper and lower-funnel channels including video, display, paid social, paid search, affiliate, and influencer partnerships
- Experience in retail or luxury sector preferred

8+ years of experience building and managing media campaigns with multi-million-dollar annual budgets. Demonstrated success in developing integrated full-funnel strategies that drive both brand awareness and conversion. Experience collaborating with creative, marketing, analytics, and agency partners to optimize campaign performance across multiple channels. Preferred experience within retail or luxury sectors.
