Tapestry seeks a Director, E‑Commerce Ops & Site Reliability Engineering in North Bergen, NJ to lead SFCC SRE teams. Salary $180,000–$215,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build, manage and mentor onsite and offshore e‑commerce support and site reliability engineering teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Define, monitor and drive Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and indicators to maximise site availability, reliability, scalability and performance across all brands on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud portfolio.
- Lead 24/7 incident response and post‑incident reviews for the unified commerce portfolio; own remediation, escalation and communications until resolution.
- Develop and deploy tooling, automation, processes and metrics to increase uptime, reduce toil and support continuous improvement of release and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, product and support teams to improve deployment pipelines, scalability, cost management and customer experience.
- Manage third‑party and legacy integrations (payments, tax, fraud, OMS/WMS) and enforce security, privacy and compliance controls (PCI, GDPR, CCPA, PII).
- Identify operational risks, propose mitigation strategies and report status to key project and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in E‑commerce, Computer Science, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in e‑commerce operations, site reliability or closely related roles.
- Proven leadership experience managing distributed teams (this role has six direct reports).
- Demonstrable experience with incident management, SLO/SLA frameworks and 24/7 operational responsibility.
- Track record integrating and operating commerce ecosystems with third‑party services (payments, tax, fraud, OMS/WMS).

Experience
At least 5 years in e‑commerce operations, site reliability engineering or platform operations, with hands‑on experience supporting large‑scale commerce sites, cloud infrastructure, third‑party integrations and enterprise incident response in a fast‑moving retail environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in E‑commerce, Computer Science, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
