Tapestry seeks Director of Data and Analytics for Greater China in Shanghai to lead data transformation across Coach and Kate Spade New York.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and establish the strategic vision for data transformation across Greater China operations
- Oversee end-to-end data strategy spanning data engineering, advanced analytics, and data science
- Build and manage high-performing teams within data and analytics functions
- Drive data-driven decision-making across Coach and Kate Spade New York brands
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices for data management and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify and prioritize analytics opportunities
- Develop and execute roadmaps for analytics infrastructure and capabilities
- Ensure alignment between data initiatives and broader Tapestry corporate objectives
Qualifications
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in data strategy and analytics transformation
- Proven track record managing large, complex data engineering and analytics teams
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in luxury retail, fashion, or comparable high-stakes consumer industries
- Expertise in building and scaling analytics platforms and data infrastructure
- Strategic business acumen with ability to translate data insights into competitive advantage
Skills
Experience
15+ years in data analytics, data science, or related technical leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years in senior management positions leading cross-functional teams; experience in Greater China markets or Asian luxury retail preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field; MBA or advanced certification in data science or business analytics strongly preferred.
