Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to seasonal design concepts and translate Coach brand aesthetic into silhouettes for outlet handbags and small leathergoods.
- Research global markets—current and vintage—to identify trends, functionality, materials, hardware and detailing applicable to the outlet assortment.
- Sketch new product concepts and produce colored illustrations (CADs) using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, ensuring correct scale and construction.
- Prepare technical specifications, design cards, and documentation for silhouette and platform newness to support commercialization under tight deadlines.
- Maintain and organize shared digital libraries and physical studio spaces; prepare presentations for milestone meetings.
- Collaborate daily with Senior Design, Technical Design, Materials, Product Development and Merchandising partners both domestically and overseas.
- Uphold Coach design integrity and meet program deadlines within a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of handbag or related product design experience (handbags, small leather goods or accessories).
- Proven proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop; comfortable producing CADs and color renderings.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare technical specs and design cards with attention to construction and brand standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to tight timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team player with initiative and adaptability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field preferred; fashion or luxury brand experience is a plus.
