Tapestry seeks a Client Platform Engineer in New York, NY to manage Intune and Jamf across iOS, macOS, Android and Windows 11.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Engineer, implement and maintain enterprise endpoint management across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android and Windows 11 using Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro and platform-native capabilities.
  • Design and operate modern provisioning solutions including Zero Touch approaches (Windows Autopilot, Apple ADE via Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise enrollment methods).
  • Administer and optimise Jamf and Intune for fleet management: configuration profiles, restrictions, inventory, compliance reporting and automation of policies/workflows.
  • Manage application lifecycle and deployment across platforms (macOS packaging and deployment, iOS/iPadOS distribution, Windows/Android application deployment).
  • Define and implement device compliance and security baselines to meet enterprise standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CIS, PCI DSS, NIST).
  • Operate OS and firmware update strategies across the fleet (Windows Update for Business, Autopatch, macOS/iOS update orchestration) to preserve security posture and productivity.
  • Support hybrid Windows environments during the transition to cloud-based management (Microsoft Entra ID) while maintaining limited SCCM/MECM lifecycle tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with IAM and M365 teams on identity and Conditional Access integration, and implement administrative segmentation (RBAC, Intune Scope Tags).
  • Monitor and improve device performance and user experience using DEX tooling; author operational documentation, SOPs and runbooks.
  • Automate administrative tasks and reporting using PowerShell, scripting and Microsoft Graph API (and equivalent platform APIs).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of endpoint engineering or enterprise client-platform support experience.
  • Demonstrable hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Intune for compliance, configuration, application deployment and troubleshooting across Windows 11 and Android.
  • Hands‑on experience with Jamf Pro for management of macOS, iOS and iPadOS (configuration profiles, policies, inventory and app deployment).
  • Practical experience with modern provisioning/enrollment methods: Windows Autopilot, Apple ADE, Android Enterprise and Managed Google Play.
  • Working knowledge of Apple enterprise services (Apple Business Manager, APNs lifecycle) and macOS security/privacy constructs (PPPC/TCC, FileVault).
  • Familiarity with Android enterprise models (work profile, fully managed devices, OEM enrollment) and Managed Google Play.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (CIS, PCI DSS, NIST) and with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access and endpoint identity impacts.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, shell scripting) and basic Microsoft Graph API use for endpoint administration.
  • Strong documentation, communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a global, collaborative environment.

Experience

At least five years of progressive endpoint engineering or enterprise client-platform support experience, with demonstrable hands‑on management of iOS, macOS, Android and Windows 11 in large, distributed environments and experience working alongside MSPs and SRE teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in enterprise endpoint engineering.
