Kate Spade New York is hiring a part‑time Retail Stylist in Woodbridge, VA (Potomac Mills). Join the team as a customer‑facing stylist at $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, build rapport and demonstrate deep product knowledge across categories.
- Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks and suggest complementary items to drive add‑on sales.
- Actively listen and ask targeted questions to uncover customer needs and translate them into product recommendations.
- Execute transactions and maintain operational excellence at the point of sale, ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain stockroom organisation, support inventory processes and assist with visual presentation on the sales floor.
- Use creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear products and to elevate customer engagement in‑store and virtually.
- Support omnichannel initiatives and adopt virtual selling techniques where required.
- Reinforce customer choices, cultivate return visits and contribute to store sales targets.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling methods.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Prior retail experience is required; experience in fashion, accessories or lifestyle retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
