Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Associate at Mall of America, Bloomington, MN. Temporary role with hourly pay $15–$24.25 and benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
  • Build and sustain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans.
  • Utilize Mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and facilitate omni-channel sales.
  • Process transactions efficiently—including purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups—while following POS and asset protection procedures.
  • Support daily store operations: cash wrap, inventory processing, receiving shipments, replenishment and basic visual merchandising.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked sales floor and stockroom; adhere to retail policies and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required and contribute to a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt behavior to maintain professional standards.
  • Perform physical tasks required by retail operations, including regular lifting (minimum 25 lbs) and routine floor movement (climbing, bending, kneeling).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs and develop personal sales plans.
  • Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer/mobile device use (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS).
  • Familiarity with clienteling, social selling, live-stream shopping or video demonstration techniques (preferred).
  • Ability to read price/release sheets and use walkie-talkie communications on the sales floor.
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.

Experience

At least one year of retail or sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury retail or fashion is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in retail, fashion, or business is a plus. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
