Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in Auckland, New Zealand (Onehunga Outlet) to deliver luxury retail service and drive omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a frontline ambassador for Coach, consistently applying the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and nurture lasting client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise and follow-up.
- Drive sales performance through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Leverage Mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture customer data and stimulate repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans and maintain a proactive pipeline of new and existing clients.
- Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while maintaining high energy and professional service standards.
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Maintain organised, fully stocked sales floor and stockroom; adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policies.
- Process transactions efficiently (sales, returns, exchanges and online order pickups) and support inventory cycles (receiving, stocking, product movement).
- Collaborate with teammates across functional areas, participate in brand initiatives and training, and contribute to a trust‑based team environment.
- Accept feedback, adapt behaviours to business needs and preserve a calm, professional demeanour during peak periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proven POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS); comfortable using walkie‑talkie and reading price/release sheets.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, high‑traffic retail environment and manage competing priorities.
- Social‑media savvy; experience with live‑stream shopping or video demos and clienteling/data acquisition skills preferred.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.

Experience
At least one year of direct sales experience with preference given to candidates from luxury or fashion retail environments; proven success in omni‑channel selling, clienteling and meeting measurable sales KPIs.
Education
No formal degree required; a combination of relevant retail education and practical sales experience will be considered.
