Coach (Tapestry) seeks a part-time Cashier in McAllen, Texas (La Plaza) to deliver exceptional cashwrap service and support the Insider program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, efficient customer service at the cashwrap; greet clients and create a positive, lasting brand impression.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately; process sales, returns, repairs and damaged-goods transactions in accordance with company policy.
- Promote the Insider loyalty program, add-on sales and gift cards to maximize average transaction value.
- Maintain strict cash-handling procedures, media management and end-of-shift audits to ensure operational and financial accuracy.
- Keep the cashwrap and related equipment clean and organized; report equipment or store issues promptly.
- Support team development by assisting in the training and mentoring of cashiers to uphold service and operational standards.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and holidays; perform light-to-moderate physical tasks (regularly lift ~25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated familiarity with POS systems, mobile retail technology and basic computer applications.
- Ability to perform reliably in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and maintain composure during busy periods.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong English language proficiency.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of cashier or retail experience is required; prior experience in luxury or premium retail environments is preferred and will be considered an asset.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred; will consider equivalent combination of education and retail experience.

The successful candidate will be located in McAllen, Texas, USA, with easy access to San Antonio.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18.50 per hour.
