Coach in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a part-time Cashier ($15.00–$19.50/hr). Deliver exceptional cashwrap service and support team operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, brand-aligned customer service at the cashwrap; greet customers warmly and conclude transactions with care.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately; process sales, returns, repairs and exchanges in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management and end-of-shift audits; ensure compliance with loss-prevention and company policies.
  • Promote loyalty programmes, gift cards and relevant add-on sales to maximise average transaction value.
  • Keep the cashwrap area organized and operational; monitor equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Support team development by training and mentoring junior cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Strong verbal English proficiency to deliver service and communicate with customers and colleagues.

Experience

At least 1 year in a cashier or retail-facing role; prior experience in luxury retail is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
