Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver seasonal assortment strategies for women’s and men’s lifestyle categories, integrating core product and licensed ranges to meet sales, margin and inventory targets across SEAO & CI markets.
  • Manage end-to-end buying lifecycle: assortment planning, range building, costing, pricing, allocation and replenishment in partnership with planning and supply chain teams.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with brand partners, licensees and vendors, including purchase orders, minimums, mark-ups and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor sell-through, inventory levels and product lifecycle; implement markdown and clearance strategies to optimize sell-through and margin.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights and sales data to inform buying decisions; prepare regular business reviews and forecasts for regional leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with design, merchandising, marketing and operations to ensure product assortments are on-brand and market appropriate.
  • Manage licensing relationships and product approvals, ensuring compliance with brand standards and contractual obligations.
  • Own budget, margin and open-to-buy metrics for assigned categories; drive continuous commercial improvement through KPI tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, business, marketing or a related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of progressive buying or merchandising experience within fashion, accessories or lifestyle brands, with demonstrable commercial results.
  • Proven experience managing licensing relationships and integrating licensed product into seasonal assortments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience contracting with vendors and license partners.
  • Excellent analytical ability with experience using sales, inventory and financial data to inform buying decisions.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with merchandising/planning systems (PLM, allocation or ERP) preferred.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
