Tapestry (Coach & Kate Spade) seeks a Brand Ambassador in Cheadle, UK — full-time role at John Lewis & Partners driving brand activations, clienteling and visual merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an elevated, consistent customer experience using brand training, tools and clienteling best practices to uphold Tapestry’s service standards in a department store environment.
- Develop and execute clienteling strategies, in-store event concepts and activations; co-host and support events to drive footfall and convert sales.
- Partner closely with John Lewis & Partners store teams, Tapestry Wholesale and Regional leadership to strengthen brand visibility and align local activity with wider commercial priorities.
- Monitor and analyse store performance against targets; prepare trade reports and present actionable plans to the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising directives for new-season rollouts and markdown periods to ensure cohesive brand presentation and adherence to regional visual standards.
- Manage product deliveries, replenishment and back-of-house standards; escalate operational issues to the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador.
- Coordinate shopfloor coverage with the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador to ensure optimal staffing and customer service during peak and promotional periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ proven experience in a retail environment with demonstrable results against sales or KPI targets.
- Practical familiarity with department store operations, including merchandising, customer service and sales strategies.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, to meet store and activation needs.
- Strong verbal communication, organisational capability and analytical aptitude for interpreting trade results and converting insight into action.
- Self-motivated, proactive mindset with a demonstrable ability to develop local business initiatives and work collaboratively with store partners.
Skills
Experience
At least two years’ retail experience, preferably within department stores or wholesale placements, with hands-on exposure to brand activations, visual merchandising and performance tracking against sales targets.
Education
No formal academic credential required; vocational retail or customer service certification is advantageous.
