Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, personalised guest engagement and represent the Coach brand with professionalism.
- Prepare handcrafted espresso beverages, operate espresso machines, grinders and ovens, and customise orders to guest preferences.
- Drive incremental sales by promoting beverages, food and in-store merchandise and meeting daily sales targets.
- Maintain visual merchandising and support floor sets, replenishment and presentation standards.
- Ensure operational excellence by upholding cleanliness, food safety, cash-handling procedures and store policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to solve customer issues, share selling strategies and support store operations.
- Handle light stock tasks and safely lift and move product and supplies (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Prior barista or café experience preferred; proven customer-facing experience required.
- Familiarity with food & beverage operating systems and ability to follow food-safety procedures.
- Proven cash-handling accuracy and adherence to store operating policies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, bend and perform duties on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience as a barista or in a café/food-service environment is preferred; experience in customer-facing retail roles and familiarity with food-safety and cash-handling procedures is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; food handling or food-safety certification preferred.
