Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests to create memorable, on-brand experiences and drive footfall conversion.
- Prepare handcrafted espresso-based beverages and food items using espresso machines, grinders and ovens while maintaining product consistency.
- Promote beverages, food and in-store merchandise to meet individual and store sales goals; customize orders and highlight limited-availability items.
- Support visual merchandising, floor sets and replenishment to uphold store presentation standards.
- Adhere to operational procedures including food safety, cleanliness, cash handling and loss-prevention protocols.
- Collaborate with the retail team to solve customer issues, share selling strategies and maintain a smooth service flow.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting preferred.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles; ability to delegate and coordinate tasks with teammates.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, public holidays and other peak retail periods.

Experience
Prior barista or café experience is preferred; candidates should have proven customer-facing experience and familiarity with task delegation and fast-paced service environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal degree required.
