Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze sales performance, pricing, and inventory levels to identify business opportunities and external market trends for new category opportunities
- Develop product strategies that balance customer acquisition with strong historical sales trends
- Communicate seasonal strategies with cross-functional partners to influence product allocation to stores, online merchandising, future product designs, and marketing initiatives
- Manage product categories at a granular level, analyzing and planning sales and inventory by size and other relevant segments
- Collaborate with buying peers to ensure alignment and synergies across the broader Lifestyle team
- Partner with Allocators to own inventory movements, identify opportunities, and execute corrective actions
- Generate forward-looking strategic ideas and implement innovative initiatives to drive category evolution
- Maintain detailed organization while managing multiple concurrent projects and adhering to tight deadlines
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve business challenges
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Buying, Allocation, or Planning roles (combination of education and experience considered)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills
- Passion for data-driven decision-making and growth-driving initiatives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong strategic thinking and outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex datasets and large volumes of information
Skills
Experience
2-3 years of buying, allocation, planning, or related merchandising experience in fashion retail or apparel wholesale. Direct experience managing product categories, seasonal planning, inventory optimization, and multi-channel distribution is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, fashion, supply chain management, or related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience in buying or planning roles may substitute.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 90,000 per annum.
