Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Merchandising teams to create product specifications for all development stages, meeting fluctuating timelines and deadlines
- Support proto rounds by working with designers to ensure specifications accurately reflect design intentions and verify accuracy of sketches and dimensions
- Assist Technical Designers and Senior Technical Designers in executing final product specification updates and corrections for bulk pass-off, ensuring all post-market changes are approved by the design team
- Ensure product specifications remain consistent across all factories and seasons
- Review and correct post-market product samples and provide detailed feedback
- Create and maintain digital design detail and standards libraries for organizational efficiency
- Conduct research into product functionality trends across the market to inform design decisions
- Provide CAD and artwork support using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as needed
- Coordinate presentation organization, setup, and cleanup; maintain design workroom organization and standards
Qualifications
- College degree in fashion design or a related field
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience required
- 0–3 years of professional experience in technical design, product development, or related design discipline
- Construction knowledge of handbags or accessory products
- Substance 3D experience
- Raspberry AI, Adobe Firefly AI, or other product design AI tools experience
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
