Coach in Mercedes, Texas is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead the retail team, and deliver luxury customer experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets through forecasting, planning and executing category and promotional initiatives; monitor KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards, resolve customer issues, and act as a visible brand ambassador in-store and within the local community.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop sales associates to build a high-performing, collaborative team and a sustainable talent pipeline aligned with the brand vision.
- Support omni-channel and digital engagement including virtual shopping, clienteling, customer data acquisition and leveraging social media trends to enhance customer experience.
- Manage operational excellence: ensure compliance with company policies, scheduling, payroll and HR processes, loss prevention, visual merchandising standards, store safety and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends, shape local store strategies and contribute insights to cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion retail background preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams to exceed performance standards.
- Strong customer focus with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems; knowledge of omni-channel services and clienteling strategies.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom (climb, bend, kneel).
Skills
Experience
At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience in retail or a customer-facing service setting; prior luxury or fashion retail experience strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 29 per hour.
