Coach in Blackwood, NJ seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support sales, operations and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager to achieve sales targets through forecasting, planning and execution of category initiatives; monitor and respond to KPIs.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards and exceptional client experiences, resolving customer issues promptly.
- Recruit, onboard and coach store team members; cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture and develop a robust talent pipeline.
- Drive omni-channel engagement by supporting virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data capture; leverage social media trends to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
- Oversee daily store operations including scheduling, payroll administration, loss prevention, vendor relations and adherence to visual merchandising and safety standards.
- Collaborate with district and corporate leadership to interpret local market trends, inform store strategy and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries; prior luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate teams to exceed performance standards and KPIs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard retail systems; practical knowledge of omni-channel and clienteling strategies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and holidays; able to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Experience
At least 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail or service environments; experience in luxury or fashion retail is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or degree in business, retail, or fashion is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
