Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Beachwood, Ohio. Lead sales, service and store operations for Tapestry's Coach boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through forecasting, weekly/monthly planning and execution of category and promotional initiatives; monitor KPIs and adapt tactics to improve performance.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards and exceptional client experiences, resolving customer issues promptly and acting as a local brand ambassador.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop store team members; create a high‑performance, collaborative culture and maintain a pipeline of talent aligned with brand expectations.
- Drive omni‑channel initiatives including virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data capture to grow lifetime value and convert digital interactions into in‑store sales.
- Own operational execution: scheduling, payroll, HR processes, compliance, loss prevention, vendor relationships, merchandising standards and store safety.
- Partner with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends, share customer and sales insights, and support cross‑functional projects and local strategies.
- Perform physical store tasks as required: stockroom management, visual merchandising resets and occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams to exceed performance goals.
- Demonstrated customer focus with strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail point‑of‑sale/retail systems; familiarity with clienteling platforms and omni‑channel workflows.
- Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, changing environment and flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and holidays as business needs require.
- Ability to perform physical job demands including regularly lifting at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in retail or service; experience within luxury or fashion retail is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college, retail management coursework, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
