Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and model Kate Spade customer service behaviours and selling standards across the sales floor.
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including clienteling, loyalty outreach and live stream shopping sessions.
  • Coach, recruit, onboard and develop retail associates; manage performance and foster an inclusive, motivating culture.
  • Own store sales plans and forecasts; set clear goals, review KPIs (traffic, conversion, UPT, AUR) and implement corrective action plans.
  • Execute visual merchandising directives and maintain impeccable store presentation consistent with brand standards.
  • Oversee daily operational processes including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, payroll and facility security.
  • Manage inventory activities such as cycle counts and shipment accuracy, and communicate stock/sell-through trends to corporate teams.
  • Build local community and recruiting networks to support brand awareness and talent attraction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience in fashion, lifestyle or a comparable environment; combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret selling reports and react to trends quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience using retail systems and POS platforms.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform routine physical tasks on the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

At least 2 years of retail management experience in a fashion or lifestyle retail environment; demonstrated record of coaching teams and delivering sales results across multiple channels.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or fashion preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Workplace

This position is based in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Toronto.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 24 to CAD 34 per hour.
